Venturing Out

Yesterday was a good day! I took the kids and a friend of my oldest miracle's to the city pool. I haven't gone in many years because it was always so crowded and just not kept up correctly. However we have a new parks director that has really shaped that department up.
So it took about an hour or so to actually get to the pool. LOL. Between eating lunch and taking care of everything my firefighter needed (he was on shift yesterday and I always get him fed before we do anything). FINALLY....we got there. It felt great to take get in the water and the kids had a great time.
